Abdullahpur Haji Amir High School: A Story of Tradition

In 1934, Abdullahpur Haji Amir High School was established in Rasulpur village of Debidwar upazila of Comilla district in a bright dream of expanding education at that time. This educational institution is not just a building, but has stood as a center of knowledge for thousands of students of this region for more than 90 years. It has stood as a witness of time and has passed the torch of education from one generation to another.

Since its establishment, the school has been maintaining its tradition. The pictures show that despite the touch of modernity, its basic foundation is still intact. Every morning, students learn discipline by hoisting the national flag, which instills patriotism and responsibility in them. Its beautiful premises and functional buildings ensure a conducive environment for the students.

Today, the school is not limited to textbook education only, but is equally focused on the overall development of the students. As seen in various pictures, it not only teaches, but also works to increase the moral and environmental awareness of the students. The scene of handing over tree saplings to the students at the award ceremony is proof of that. This shows that the school is determined to highlight the importance of nature and environment along with education to the future generations. In this way, Abdullahpur Haji Amir High School is moving forward on the path of the present while holding its glorious past in its heart, playing an important role in local education and culture.
